You might think a small group is a place where you can laugh, love, make friends, and be comfortable. All good things, but they are not the primary reasons to participate in a small group at church. We think a small group is where you are challenged to grow in Christ in ways you never would have thought of yourself. Join today!

Some Common Objections to Joining a Small Group
"I don’t have the time.”
That's fine. Just come when you do, but sign up anyways. All we know is that you will never have the time if you're are waiting for your schedule to clear up.
“I don’t really need this.”
That’s fine too. But we wonder if you might be misunderstanding something about small groups -- it isn’t primarily for your benefit. You will benefit for sure, but it is really your way of practicing community. It is your way of practicing what it means for us to be called to “build one another up.” (1 Thess. 5:11)
“I have another group of friends.”
I do too. I have friends I have lots in common with. We all do. But that is different from the church community I’ve been called to. I am called to do church with you, which is both a choice and a responsibility.
Seriously, to paraphrase an author, we want to do spiritual formation as if the church really mattered. We have a group on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, throughout Orange County.
