Church Camping Trip/No Worship in Irvine Next Sunday!!

This weekend (5/24-5/27) is our first Cross camping trip. We will not have our regular worship service in Irvine next Sunday so please make plans to join us by the beach!

Blood:Water Mission - The Last Water Walk! Saturday, 6/8

We promised you a tougher walk, so join the Katalyst team on Saturday, June 8, for the "hard" water walk at Peter's Canyon Park! The focus of this event is to get the word out about the water issues in Africa, and our work to help. Talk to Nadia, Kayla, or Gene.

Youth Cold Weather Shelter Volunteering

Starting the day after Christmas till yesterday, the youth of Cross

have been volunteering at a cold weather shelter from 5AM to

7AM. Thank you for your prayers, and please ask them about their experience!

Update on Christmas at an Emergency Shelter

This Christmas season we were able to raise over $1300 to give away to the homeless! Yesterday we used some of our donations to host a Christmas party dinner at an emergency shelter.

Our party for the children and family at Thomas House is this Thursday from 6PM to 8PM! If you would like to join us, please contact Pastor Sun (jsunyu@gmail.com). You can park under any of the car ports, but NOT on the street. Also, please remember to dress up in costume!

The youth group at Cross is hosting a Halloween party for the children and families at a local transitional shelter called Thomas House. We will be providing dinner, crafts, and a trick-or-treat time for the residents. To help make this happen we will need volunteers to come and help with the event (whole families can volunteer together). Dressing up in costumes is encouraged!! We also need volunteers to sponsor dinner and crafts. If you’d like to come and help or if you’d like to donate, OR if you’d like to do both, please sign up with Pastor Sun today!

PASTOR SUN IS OFFICIAL!

Last week, our children’s ministry director, Sun Yu, passed the licensing interview with the Christian and Missionary Alliance (our denomination) committee. This is an intense process and a significant achievement, so congratulations, Sun!
